Hi..

You can change the country by clicking the round flag icon bottom right corner of the App Store window. Same for iTunes.

Your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.

"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

From here > The Complete Guide to Using the iTunes Store | iLounge Article

Billing policy is the same for the iTunes and Mac App Stores.

I had the same problem. I had to switch fr Russian AppStore to New Zealand one after I changed my location.

It might still be helpful for someone. So I did this:

1) Opened AppStore, went to Featured (bottom left), then scroll down and choose ur Apple ID: urname@blabla.com ,

2) then choose View Apple ID,

and then change country/region and payment info.

After that I signed out of App Store (do number (1) again but choose Sign out),

signed in again and tried to download one free app and I was told 'u may do so only in NZ App Store, you'll be switched now to it' and surprise, surprise I finally was. I did ithis on my iphone so don't know if it works differently on itunes. Hope it will help someone. I was confused when realised it didn't work (before I signed out and signed in again)

I had the same issue when I updated to the latest IOS. All of a sudden I couldn't purchase apps because of my app store location. I had to manually login > Settings / iTunes & App Stores > click Apple ID and login... went to my Country Region and even though it matched what I had previously used, had to go back in and confirm the same country and agreement policy.

Once I finished this process I could once again update my apps and get new ones using the same country local that I'd previous had prior to updating the IOS.

how to change your app store to another country using the same email???
