Turned off iTunes Match, now iTunes library is screwed up

This morning I figured I'd finally try iTunes Match. After playing around with it for a while, and not enjoying any of it's features, I turned it off and now my library is screwed up.

Some of my playlists seem like they've reverted to versions from months ago. For example, I have a playlist of new albums. It doesn't contain any of the new albums I added in the past few months, and it has a few Christmas albums - as if the playlist reverted back to last winter's version.

Other issues are appearing, like songs have lost their ratings I have given them.

How can I revert to a version of my iTunes library, like the way it was yesterday. I notice my iTunes folder has a file called Previous iTunes Libraries, and I see a .ilt file from yesterday... can that be used somehow?

Thanks!
