Does anyone know if Apple will make the 512GB flash upgrade available for the 2011 macbook air owners? I know that you can order it through CTO on the newly announced Airs but it would be amazing if Apple made it available for 2011 air owners.

Apple doesn't make any upgraded SSD's available for the MBA.
You will have to consider aftermarket, such as is available at macsales.com
They have a 480 GB available.
Thanks for your reply. That is what I thought. OWC's prices at the moment are quite a bit higher for even less storage. There is a $300 difference between Apple's upgrade and the OWC price. Ouch!

I also just read that the new SSD's in the 2012 Air's have a tweaked connector design that make the drives incompatible with the previous generation. Oh well, may OWC will drop their prices now.
