Problem with Bluetooth

I can not hear anything on my Bluetooth. I tested it on another phone and it works fine. I have been using Bose bluetooth with my iphone for over a year fine, no problems. Now when I hit the call button I hear one beep, then nothing. But the iphone goes to voice control but I can not communicate between my bluetooth and the phone. Help!
