Q: can i hide books so they do not show up on my ipad ibooks library?

I would like to know if there is anyway to hide books in my library. I tried the hiding and unhiding purchases and that was not what I needed. My kids use my ipad to read books in my library that are books I bought for them to read. I do not want them to be able to read books I have purchased for me as some of them have more adult content. Is it possible to change settings so some of my books do not show up?

ibooks don't currently have an age rating in the same way as films and apps do so there isn't a way to hide them on your shelf. You can try leaving feedback for Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/

Following Apple instructions on how to hide an iBook Purchase based on my testing hiding a book works in 5.1.1 on an original iPad but does not work on an iPad Mini 6.01 so my guess is that it might well be a bug.
