so i got ios 6 recently from a friend just to see how it was like, now im trying to go back to ios 5, but itunes says there is a problem downloading the software? how do i do, because i want to restore, but it wont.
iOS 6 is beta software and is not available for general users. Only developers have access (or should have access) to this software. Issues with Beta software cannot be discussed here.
Downgrading iOS is not supported. If you are a developer, you might be able to get assistance in the developers forums, but you cannot get assistance here.
but you see this is my friend giving it to me, so basically i just wanted to see what it was like, and i found there was a lot of problems that i didnt like about it so i tried to delete it, but it wont. since i dont have a membership to the developers forum i cant do anything. should i visit an apple store?
Then tell your friend to fix it.
