Q: There is no music part in my itune store. Why is it so??

I've tried downloading itunes from the apple website, but when I install it on my windows 7 laptop, it says "../iTunes64setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application". As such, I tried to download form another provider which then I am able to install it on my laptop. But the problem is there seem to be no music or video part in the itunes store, so I am unable to download any music at all. Also when I connect my laptop to my ipod touch and try to download music from the itunes store, it says there that "cannot connect to itune store". What is happening??

Anyone can help me??

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

What country are you in ? Not all content types are available in all countries : what can be bought where. If you are in a country where music isn't currently available, then do you have access to other music purchase download sites ? You can also copy your own CDs via your computer's iTunes and sync them to the iPod.

In terms of the 'cannot connect' on the iPod, is it connected to the internet ? Do other internet apps work on it e.g. Safari ? If they do then try logging out of your account on the iPod by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

I'm from Malaysia and according to the link that u sent me, I'm able to download songs, my friend had an ipod too and she is able to download them but I can't.

The cannot connect is referring to "cannot connect to itunes store" when I tried to download songs from itunes on my ipod. I still can't get anything done after logging out and logging in my id =(

That link says that apps, podcasts, iTunes U and free books are available in Malaysia, music isn't.
