iMovie import from server error -43

I have a room of macbooks that have had no problems with imovie imports using local user profiles where the user movie file are on the local machine. Recently I have moved the increasing users to server X and have had little issue except.....

I can no longer import files into imovie I get the error:

"Copy Failed

This file could not be copied:

/Network/Servers/server.xxxx.local/Users/UserName/Desktop/movie.mov"

I have had no probelm with the same file locally stored so this must be a server permissions error. Does anyone know where the permissions can be found, I suspect, on the server?

Desperate........

Thanks

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7)

Hi

Error -43 fnfErr File not found; Folder not found; Edition container not found; Target not found

As far as I know.

Net-work storage of iMovie video material - doesn't work

• external hard disk - MUST BE - Mac OS Extended (hfs) formatted - Nothing else will work for video.

(UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange - works for most other things BUT NOT for Video - Whatever program used - iMovie, FinalCut or iDVD)

But if anyone made it work - Please fill me in.
