I found it on national geographic website and clicked on get wallpaper. It went into my downloads folder but I can't set it as wallpaper or save it. It says it's locked.

Try right or control clicking then select: Use Image as Desktop Picture
Tried to right click but I can't. Is there something I should be doing after I click on it from downloads folder?
You should see a pop up menu where you can select: Use Image as Desktop Picture
