I cannot update apps for my macbook air.

when I try to update the apps for my macbook air all that happens is that I am asked for my password, I type it in click on update all (I have also tried clicking on individual updates), and then that circle thing appears to go round and round endlessly. Nothing gets updated. I looked to see if I could update through itunes and there are no apps or updates for my macbook there. I have also clicked on the apple logo in the top left of the screen for updates and all my soft ware is up to date.

Can anyone suggest what I should do to get the 5 updates done?

thanks

MacBook Air

Hi ...

If you have security software (anti virus) installed, disable that before downloading updates.

Try "resetting" your Apple ID password > Apple - My Apple ID

And other types of third party software other then anti virus can preent updates from downloading > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text

I cannot update apps for my macbook air.
