My computer crashes randomy a couple of times per week.

Question

I have a MacBook Air from December 2011 with Lion installed from start. 10.7.4 now.It crashes randomly a couple of times per week.I run the normal Apple programs as Safari, Mail, TextEdit and also Filemaker 11.The computer goes dead saying in a Transparent window thar I have to hold down the restart button and restart the computer.Can I install Snow Leopar on this computer and wait for the Apple  fix.Or does anyone have a clue on this.

Your outdated installation of "Little Snitch" is causing the panics. Either remove it (recommended) according to the developer&#x27;s instructions, or update it. If you keep it, you must make sure it&#x27;s always up to date, otherwise this will happen again.

I am having the same issue, I bought the 2012 air 13 inch on Tuesday of this week and have had a few grey screens asking for a reboot, as well as 3 or 4 freezes. I think I figured out the problem based off of what the original posters problem was. It seems (based on searching for the key-term backtrace) that the new graphics card is causing the issues. Which leads me to believe that the only way that these crashes will stop is when they send out an update for it, which hopefully will be soon.

You and I have the same issue. An update for the graphics card pushed out this morning (for me). Check for software updates, should be there. If it crashes again ill let you know but I would assume that this update takes care of the issue causing the reboots.
