I want to know if this is normal I just upgraded from an Iphone 4 to a 4S and when I did a restore from my old iphone 4 to the new iphone 4s and put in the back up to the new phone, my file system is pretty much taking up to 7 gigs of my iphone 4S flash drive.
Is that Other suppose to be this much space taken.

No, looks like you have a corrupted file in your backup. Try Restoring it from backup.
I did I restore from the back up. But was surprise me the high level of space being taken
Then you might have to Restore as a new phone and Resync.
when I do that it gets fix but when I restore from my backup it goes back to how the image in this post looks like.
