installed this update and now apps just say loading and will not load. what do i need to do?

Java for mac osx10.6 update. I play pogo games and after updating this java update, when I try to play games the it gets stuck on " loading app" and never loads. Is there a way to un-install this update or changes settings somehow so that it will work again. Please help.
