Q: How do I delete a large number of photos from Photo stream or Saved Photos on iPAD

To delete all the photos in your photo stream see here:

You can multi-delete photos by opening the Photo Stream album on your iDevice, then tapping the box with an arrow in the bottom left corner. This allows you to select multiple photos and delete them.
