how to reset a frozen ipod classic?

To do a hard reset, first make sure the hold switch at the top is in the Off position, then press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together at the same time long enough for the Apple logo to appear. This may or may not work the first time around, so don't be afraid to try it more than once.

iPod totally frozen.

Apple logo showing, even after pressing MENU & CENTER button; it just disappears for a second and comes up again… every time.
