Autosave interrupts working in pages.

Hi,

While I'm working in pages, I'll be typing along, and then I'll get a beach ball while pages autosaves a version.

It's remarkably annoying and really has made creating documents in pages pretty undesirable.

I'm running Lion (10.7.4) and Pages '09 (version 4.1).

Is there anyway to make it stop?

I've looked around and can't find anyway to disable this "unhelpful feature".

Thanks!

Jay

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the response! I've turned Time Machine off and still get the beach ball every few minutes while working in Pages.

I occured to me that I'm editing this file from iDrive (I keep it between my iPad and my iMac). I am thinking that is why, because when I write locally I don't seem to get the same behavior.

I'll test it out and reply to this thread.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Sincerely,

Jay
