I have Apple TV (2nd Gen). Lost my remote but have been using the remote app which works better than the apple tv remote. Changed my wifi, password and username - now cannot get my apple tv to work...any ideas. it does not respond. I am sure all ineed to do is select a new wifi connection but i cannot get to the screen to do that...helpings pleasings.
You will have to use your original remote in order to set up the network connection. The remote app relies on the network connection in order to control the Apple TV, what you have is a chicken and an egg situation.
