Any website using Comic Sans is a poorly designed site. The site developers have the option of using any number of fonts, including a number that are pretty universally loaded on any number of operating systems and are recognized as being quite readable online. Comic sans is NOT one of those, and there are a multitude that also fall into that category. Complain to the webmaster if it is that much of an issue.

The reason you can see it on the Mac is because the OSX has a font manager function that allows adding fonts. IOS doesn't. The only fonts available are those that are preloaded. While it is limiting, the selection that is preloaded will accommodate any well design website.
