Error 1647
The first time I tried to update my iTunes+QT was in January when I was prompted to do so by my current program. I downloaded the latest version but I kept getting the error:
1647: Unable to create InstallDriver instance, Return code: -2147312566
Within the past two week's I've been trying daily to install it because I've wanted to watch some videos that are in the iTunes compatable format. I've looked on the internet for my error code and found that it said I was missing a driver. I manually replaced it, downloaded 2 programs to replace it for me and still nothing has happend. I've spent 10 hours this week trying to fix this, including one on the phone to GeekSquad (********) who couldn't help me but offered to patch me over to someone who could if I had $99.
My birthday was yesterday, and I was given an iPod video. I've tried installing iTunes with the CD it came with and am getting the same error. I'd really like to use my new gift, so if ANYONE could help me that would be utterly fantastic.
