factory unlock of iPhone 4s in India

While returning from Canada, iPhone 4S under Rogers Carier was not unlocked. Now I am in India and will be leaving for Japan in July. I would like to continue using iPhone 4S in India and Japan. Please provide information about Factory unlock of iPhone 4S in India.

ONLY the carrier to which it is locked can unlock it.

You would have to contact that carrier and ask if they offer this service and if you qualify.
