OpenGL Framebuffer Error

While I'm working on a project, the video from the storyline will suddenly black out. I can skim it and hear the sound but no video.

Clips in the Library work normally.

The project is DV. I have about two hours on the timeline; forming an intitial storyboard, cutting trimming & repositioning to make the final duration about 15 minutes.

This happens repeatedly. Restarting FCPX does not correct the problem; requires restart.

Here's a few lines from console that indicate an OpenGL error:

One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined.

I have those errors a whole lot in the console... They are always occurring in conjunction with FCPx becoming slow and choppy.

This ALSO happens with NO effects applied. FCPx uses openGL to "Draw" stuff.

It seems to me that FCPx is draining the GPU (Graphic Unit) from memory without releasing it once it is no longer needed. Much like the fatal memory leakage happening in Snow Leopard where FCPx would keep all the CPU memory in an inactive state.

PLEASE --- Whenever you guys experience those issues... Use the "Provide Final Cut Pro Feedback..." menu item from the Final Cut Pro menu.... and send it to the engineering team. THAT is the only way for them to gather vital information that may very well lead to squashing this mean bug.
