I can't access microsoft website on bootcamp?

Hello Mac user everywhere, I have a problem accessing microsoft website such as microsft.com, msn.com and hotmail.com on my bootcamp windows xp partion. I just don't know why that is, I did everything to set it up and I just can access the websites. Every other website works fine so it can't be my internet connection. When I'm on mac partion I can access microsoft sites, but when I'm on bootcamp I can't. It just doesn't make any sence, if mac works just fine, why bootcamp can access it. Is it because it's an OME version of it, or what? Please help me, I really what to update windows xp and software like windows messenger, directx and so on. Thank you for your time.

Depends on the browser, sometimes it says connection timed out, or can't connect to server. Even when I try to install stuff from microsoft downloads off my flash drive, it says can not connect to microsft.com or something above those lines. I have been thinking of getting windows 7 but my dad says it's better to have XP because he's used to it, but he does own a windows 7 computer and laptop and does want me to delete windows xp cause I've got a right click apple mouse and setup both mine and his user to have the right click feature. Also I have windows xp pro SP3 and use google chrome to browse the internet, I barlly use IE7, even if I do it says try to diagnose my internet connection. I've tried that and nothing happen just the same error message.

Do you know what you did or added?

VMs works on any platform. Has nothing to do with whether you own x or z.

You're using Windows. On a Mac. Try run Windows from inside OS X using Parallels.

Maybe learn what things actually are and do.

Change your router's DNS IP to OpenDNS.

I've read where people were using Symantec Norton for OS X and the firewall interferred.

Type in the physical IP for a web site.

XP was and is garbage it has so many security holes you can drive a tank through it.

Get your Dad or someone to properly setup Windows in a guest account under OS Xs.

Your system has a high probability of being infected with malware.

Good luck.
