Q: I set up a phone number to use FaceTime. Now I want to cancel FaceTime but can't figure out how to do it. It only affects this one number. I have tried to erase the number from my phone and re-enter it but even then it automatically reverts to face time.

    Settings > Facetime > Slide Facetime to OFF.

    you cannot edit the phone number in the factime settings. it is linked via the Activation parameters of your cell provider. You would need to change the number of your phone within Phone settings. however that is only if you have actually changed your number with your provider only
