Q: My ipad is frozen. I can't even switch it off. What can I do?
I tried to download an app and a pop up window came up saying "unable to download application" I have the option to click on "done" or "retry" but neither responds. I have tried to switch my ipad off, but I can't slide to power off. I can't even Slide to unlock the ipad. I have tried syncing my ipad on my computer and deleting the app, but it doesn't change anything.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
