Cannot update system to 1.5.8.

Hello, I got this iBook G4 a few days ago, and encountered a problem trying to update to 1.5.8, where it would download the full update, but then it would get stuck on configuring instillation. I've tried leaving it on over night, but still it was stuck at the same place. Any help or answers to this problem are appreciated.
