cannot get c.d to itunes/iPod: directions for Gracenote won't work: unable to access File, get info (IT DOES NOT HILITE TO ALLOW TO SELECT) ????

I could not get my C.D. songs to display in order to download them onto iTunes for my iPod Nano. Instructions say to got to File and select get info. However get info does not highlight therefore I can't access it to go any further. HELP PLEASE. Thanks!
