Lastest Airport Card Firmware - How to tell?

How can I tell if I have the latest firmware for my airport card? I have a G4 15" Powerbook. When I query about this Mac, it show this as the latest firmware:

: 404.2 (3.90.34.0.p16)

The latest update is AirPort Extreme Firmware Update 5.7 for Mac OS X. Why don;t these numbers match?

I have been experiencing problems with my wireless connection lately, so I want to make sure I have the latest.

Thanks.

PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.5)

There is no relationship between those 2 numbers. The 5.7 refers to the firmware in the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) not in the Mac's AirPort Extreme card.

If you have all the AirPort updates installed, your AirPort Extreme card has the latest firmware.

My iBook G4 has all the latest updates and has the same version of firmware as your PowerBook.

Well in my case, I am trying to update to the latest Extreme Card firmware,
but it does not appear on "Software Update".

I run a G5 with 10.3.9 and on the "System Profiler"
I have this firmware:

400.17 (3.90.34.0.p11)

This is not the latest, according to this topic, so
what can I do to update?
On apple.com I only find updates for ABS...

G5 1.8 mhz, 1.5 GB RAM Mac OS X (10.3.9)

The firmware does not show up as a separate item. Any firmware update is embedded in an AirPort software update. It is doesn't magically and unknown to the user.

If you have installed every AirPort software update (through Software update or via download), then you have the latest firmware available for OS 10.3.9.
