Jun 16, 2012 4:42 PM in response to CBK83by lllaass,★HelpfulThe iPod does not have GPS. For location it uses the location of nearby wifi routers that are in Apple's database. For the FInd to work wifi has to be on and connected. If the iPod is restored the FInd feature is deleted.. Also see:

Apple wil not do anything.
Report to police and change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod.

Yep, the old fashioned way: Go looking for it...
With that said, Find My Phone doesn't work like everyone seems to believe. The app works much better on an iPhone because cell tower triagulation is dead accruate, and using a WiFi router location can be WAY off...
