just got an Iphone 4s.. and literally can't pull down the notification center, couldnt find any settings to change this and i could have sworn you cant even turn off the slide down notification center.. am i missing something? i havent seen anyone else with this problem so i am starting to think its my phone itself thats actually messed up..

The Notification Center will only work after you have entered your passcode.
see my issue is actually when my phone is completely unlocked. I recieve my lockscreen notifications fine but when i unlock and try to pull down the notification center it doesnt at all.
Are you using the correct motion? Swipe your finger from the middle of the top of the screen to the bottom of the screen.

Do you have notifications turned off? If you don't and you can't get it to slide down, take it to an Apple store for help. Make an appointment with the genius bar first.

I am having the same problem. It was working yesterday and it is not working today. Is there any setting to turn it off and on? I would be surprised if I accidentally deactivated if while fiddling with the settings.

Is your guided access on? If it is, you can turn it off then on again. I had the same problem but that solved the problem for me. Go to SETTINGS>GENERAL>ACCESSIBILITY>GUIDED ACCESS. Hope this works for you

I Restarted my phone, and it was fine.
What was the problem like the defect cause the same thing is happening to me and what did you do to fix it
Therefore all you did was shut it off and then turn it on?
