Q: MacBook Pro Retina display burn-in?

Your thermals are much higher due to higher clock possibly, mine has the stock everything.  If you are running in the 100 degrees then you might want to get it checked out I don't think that is normal seeing that most machine throttle at that temp.  I was running at 75-80 degrees before the paste, I had the machine for a while though since June.  And the paste that I gave him was Arctic Silver, which brought the temp down by 15 degrees. 

If you need a reference go to the i-fix-youknowhat site, and you can see the horrible paste job they did on the rMBP.  Disgruntle Chinese workers I tell you, I actually felt safer having a qualified Apple repair tech and I don't mean "Genius" look over my machine.

I'm not defending Apple at all. I'm not happy about spending as much as I did on this system, only to find out that it has an IR problem. I just hate Windows too much to want to go back. Then I made the mistake of asking you a simple question about your purchase criteria.

And here I thought I could have a respectful dialog with some anonymous poster on the Internet. Silly me. Well, I think you and I are at a end with this now.

Of course you're defending apple and nobody here thinks otherwise, again, your tone was clear and not respectful to me,  the question you should answer to yourself is, why? Do you think they're your hockey team or something? It's not like I said I was leaving your mother, I moved on from one computer to another. I gave perfectly logical reasons why. Calm down and accept that not everyone is like you and "HATES"  Windows. If you read my post you'd know that I accept them all and owe none of them a thing.

Lastly, thanks for correcting my "bean". As I'm sure you never make "grammatical" errors, you're now in charge of correcting grammatical errors as at least we know you can do that. BTW, I'm proud to say I had to look up the word "cathartic" and even more proud of the fact that I have no friends that would ever think to use it in a sentence. But then some people like to have thesaurus by their computer.

I hate to be an *** but if you're going to point out grammar mistakes, there are many more that you could have pointed out.

Further, if you want to point out others' mistakes in grammar, you should have perfect grammar yourself.

1. dialog is actually dialogue

2. at "an" end

3. bean versus been is not a mistake in grammar, but one of spelling

Huh? That can't be right. 100 degrees C is the boiling point of water. Seems like ALOT to me.

No that isn't normal, I thought 75º-85º was pretty high.  Now its running at a cool 65º-70º max even while gaming, 35º idle or web browsing.  I can barely feel the heat on my lap or above the keyboard.

Hmm. Fans should kick in and bring that 100C down quickly. In fact I thought they wouldn't let it get that hot.

On my MBP, fans keep the temp below 60 most of the time. Maybe it's expected behaviour on rMBP.
