How can I sell my iPad when it has a dent that causes no harm to it?

So I accidentally hit my iPad 1 against the corner of my dresser. My mom knows and really she doesn't care. I'm thinking of selling the one I have and then, using that money and saving up a little more to buy an iPad 2 cause I think the iPad 2 is better than the 3. Anyway, how am I supposed to sell this iPad when it has a dent? I'm thinking another option could be to replace the one I have at the apple store with another iPad 1 in the same condition, but without the dent. That would cost 249 which I could possibly save up myself. Then I could work on sellling that one without the dent to get my iPad 2. So should I go with plan B, or whatever you who is reading this will tell me about how to sell a dented iPad.

If it is not a huge dent, sell as is. Used iPads average $250 from what I see on eBay (checked just now).
