Read and write NTFS in MAC
Hi Apple Support,
How can I read and write NTFS Western Digital 1TB Elements External Drive in Mac as I used before in Snow Leopard?

This isn't Apple Support, its a user community...but we'll still try to help! 🙂
Lion can natively read NTFS but cannot write. You can try a 3rd party extension that claims to enable write-support for NTFS but I haven't tried it myself. Take a look here:

Be sure to investigate it fully before you dive in, though.

I have the same problem, I've searched and found out there are applications called Fuse4X and Fuse for OSX, do theses apps give Lion the ability to write on NTFS drives?
If you had software installed in Snow Leopard that allowed you to Read and Write to NTFS formatted drives adn now that you have upgraded to Lion and it no longer works that is because either the Lion install wiped out that software oe the version you had is not compatible with Lion.
Sop Reinstall an updated version of that software if there is an updated version. Or find another program that will work with Lion to read and write to NTFS.
