what can i do after several fsck's and this turns up "the volume Macintosh HD could NOT be repaired" DVD not available
and this turns up "the volume Macintosh HD could NOT be repaired" DVD not available?? Please help

If fsk in single user mode isn't working then there isn't much you can do. Even if you had a startup DVD it isn't likely it could do much more than fsk and it is quite possible you need a stronger utility such as Diskwarrior or TechToolPro, or DriveGenius, or etc.
