Jun 17, 2012 7:13 AM in response to lrkumarby King_Penguin,★HelpfulThe message refers to needing iTunes 10.5+ on your computer not on the iPad - the built-in apps on the iPad can only be updated via iOS updates. (Apart from iOS updates, the only way to install apps is via the iTunes app store on your computer's iTunes and syncing or directly on the iPad via the App Store app - you can't download programs via Safari.)
On your Mac's iTunes do 'iTunes > Check For Updates' and update it to the latest version.

Jun 17, 2012 7:12 AM in response to lrkumarby Demo,★HelpfulThat message means for iTunes on the Mac - not on the iPad. Update iTunes on your Mac. There is only one version of itunes on the iPad and that is dependent on the iOS version that you are running.
