hi my partner brought me an iphone 4 new from amazon for 400 quid the carrier then sed orange after restoring phone and puting my sim in (virgin t mobile ) it has signal but will not make or send calls or txt please helllp

Virgin Mobile in the UK is not a supported carrier. Amazon is not a legitimate (authorized) source for iPhones. Odds are the phone was jailbroken/hacked.

You'll have to work with Virgin to try and straighten out any issues.
