Ipod Classic 3rd Generation Problem.

Hello,

I have a 3dr generation Ipod classic.

The other day it gave me the "Plug to Itunes to restore" on the screen. I was away from my computer when it happened, so I had to wait an hour before I plugged it in.

When I got home I plugged the Ipod to my computer using the ipod USB, I have windows 7, but the ipod wouldn't read it.

My Ipod won't turn on or even charge. I was adding music to the ipod a few hours prior. Now it won't turn on.

Can you help or have any suggestions????
