Retina MBP - visual glitches after returning from sleep

On the new Retina MBP (using the highest res setting), I'm noticing that there are significant visual glitches (ghosting, persistent blocks, lack of redraw, etc...) upon returning from sleep.

Is anyone else seeing this problem?

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

For anyone who's still waiting for a ML upgrade code:

I got tired of waiting and called Apple Support. What they told me was that their system sufferred an unrecoverable overload yesterday and started having lots of issues (like handing out duplicate codes). So they shut it down. They've been getting things fixed today and I was told that I should have an email in my inbox sometime tomorrow morning.

Mountain Lion hasn't fixed my problems with this just shifted them so far. I haven't seen as many glictches on the Laptop screen but my problems on external Apple Display are as bad as the laptop dispaly was before 10.8... every full sleep requires a restart to correct the display issues now.

I thought this issue was just that retina mac books were just related to being released pre-Mountain Lion. But it's no better. I'd at least expect Apple to test with their own hardware. It's not a thunderbolt display, but it's an LED Cinema with a minidisplay connection. Given that display is a fairly standard tech, I'd really expected more…

I would expect more as well - I have mine set to never sleep since it's on my desk right now but once I start traveling it will become more of an issue.

I don't know why this can't be fixed or why no one has acknowledged it. I buy a $3500 laptop and it shouldn't be having these type of software/driver issue --g

I've got problems with laptop screen when external monitor is also attached to MBP Retina. See here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_2_tIILhx0&feature=plcp

And don't mind the vmware.. this happens with other programs also. The browser tiles which are showing on top of the vmware is from browser that has been closed already.

Quick fix is to set the resolutions to lower and then back again.I'm using the the highest resolution possible from system preferences.

I installed the recent SMC patch from Apple on my Lion. Clearly the glitching pattern has changed (less broken screen, but still visual glitches--requiring reboot--after awaking from sleeping). I confirm that the bug patch of SMC doesn't work on my Retina MBP (with Lion).

One thing, I notice that the glitch problem only happens when the machine awakes from sleeping from "screensaver" when softwares using GPU were launched before sleeping. When I turned off the screensaver, I seems to avoid these glitches much less.

Is this software or hardware problem??? I hope we could get PROPER graphics cards driver or firmware that could solve the problem for this Retina MBP soon (Frankly, I'm disappointed by the quality of engineering of Apple again since I experienced the logic board replacement (kind-of-recall) of my old MBP-15" (2010-mid) that crashed often due to some hardware issues on logic board).
