Q: my imac beep 10 times in between 15 secs but it won't turn on. how to fix this problem?

If that doesn't halep then see if you can safe boot.
If you still cannot boot try running Apple Hardware Test. You may have a problem with your ram.
Possible boot chime meanings although none of these fit your description:
