Can't print from Notability Pro

All of the sudden I can't seem to print directly from Notability Pro v 2.106. This seemed to start after I downloaded the latest security update to Panther. (10.3.9) I get an error message that implies that my printer is not on, although I can print from MS Word with no problem. A somewhat clunky workaround is that I can save the print file as a PDF, and then print the PDF from "preview." Any insights?
