Wireless Keyboard (09) Illuminated?

I have an Apple Wireless Keyboard (09). Should the keyboard illuminate? I replaced the 2 batteries.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Hello:

I don't believe any Apple keyboards are illuminated. My Bluetooth one is not, for sure.

None of Apples wireless keyboards have the illumination feature, only laptops.
