Can I add a photo attachment after starting to write an email
If I've started to write an email via mail, can I add a photo as an attachment?
I only see how to start an email from the photo initially.

Yes. While you're composing a message just tap the home button, open Photos, tap and hold the photo you want to attach and choose Copy. Go back to your message and tap and hold the place where you want to insert it and tap Paste.
