iskin case obstruction to earphone plugin problems
I already posted my issue with no audio after plugging in my Sony ear buds but no answers yet. So I'm asking a new question that is related.
I've experience two problems with my new ipod:
1. No audio during play of music/podcast/video. Play advances, play can be paused/restarted according to the right-pointing triangle (play) and two bars (pause) that show up.
2. No play, no advance of playhead for any type of file...sits at 0:00.
My latest theory is that the plugin of the ear buds, external speakers, cables, etc is the problem. I have an iSkin silicon case, slick design, loved it on my previous mini ipod but now on the 5G ipod, the case covers nearly the entire ipod but leaves a little hole for the plug prong to pass thru. It means the material of the case around the hole tends to prevent full seating of the plug, particularly if the plug is larger than others.
My question is... do any other iSkin users having any play issues with their 5G ipod? Please share if you have total success or any similar issues.
