Jun 18, 2012 12:03 PM in response to Limnosby varjak paw,No Mac has built-in GPS, Limnos. All location is done by the location of the WiFi router as entered in Apple's database, informaiton which may be unavailable or wildly inaccurate.

Is There Any Problem With My WiFi Router?
-
Jun 19, 2012 7:57 AM in response to Wild Pixieby varjak paw,It could be a problem with the router, but more likely it's just that the database Apple and Google use for locating a device that lacks GPS doesn't have the location of your router. Since there's no way a user can add a device to Apple's database, Find My Mac may not be accessible to you. It's of dubious benefit in any case, since it's so easily defeated.
Regards.
