A lot of my iBook is missing. many Blank pages. And it says Encoding error
iPhone 3GS, iOS 5.1.1
What is the title of the book? Have you tried deleting and redownloading?

Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell. I deleted it twice and re-downloaded, have updated the iBook App as well. Plugged into my PC and Synced. Still empty pages with encoding error message on them.
In the iTunes receipt there is a Report a Problem link. Use that to let Apple know there is a problem with the book. Also email the publish of the book and let them know the issues with the book.
I am having the same problem. I was almost through reading the book when I upgraded to an ipad2. Most of my books synched, but some only partially synched. The book cover shows on Nora Roberts "Witness" but there is an encoding error message in the content area. I have tried reloading and resynching every I know but it will not fix the problem.
Have you use the Report a Problem link as suggested by Hunter of Sock Monsters?
For some reason, I cannot find that receipt in order to report the problem. However, I did finish reading the book on my iPhone. So, I will hope it was a one-time glitch that occurred because of the upgrade.
