Check your Finder preferences.
Click on desktop>Finder>Preferences>General tab>Click Hard Disk. Also Sidebar tab and make your choices.
Well i can't really do that, As i have no Macintosh disk at All, i have to installer Mac OS X over again but I have no disk to select,....
You need to boot from your Original Installation Disk that came with your iMac when you bought it.
Hope this helps 🙂
OK, what did you actually do to delete the Macintosh HD - it will help us to try and give helpful suggestions.
You need to call AppleCare and request a replacement set of your Install Discs which they should be able to do for a nominal cost. You will need the serial number (look under the stand) and a credit card. This is your only avenue.
