The message "printer is offline" keeps showing.

Select the printer's "on line" mode, or deselect its standby mode, or cycle the power, or reboot your MacBook, or delete the print job, or reset your printing system and reinstall the printer...

Many obstructions to printing can cause that message, and there can be as many reasons as there are printers. Without additional information specific guidance is difficult to provide.
