I pad sensitivity for disabled users

Hello,

I am an occupational therapist and I am workign with a disabled client who recently got an IPad but it is not responding to his touch. How do the IPads sense touch is it on pressure or tempurature? Can the senstivity of the screen be increased or decreased to adapt to meet different peoples needs.

Many thanks

Neither; it's on capacitance. Screen sensitivity cannot be adjusted. If the screen on the iPad isn't responding to normal finger touch from bare skin from any user (that is, with the person not using gloves or something else covering their fingertip) there's something wrong with the iPad. Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If that doesn't help, the iPad will probably need to go to Apple for servicing.
