It's very simple: Front Row was written for older versions of OS X and is not compatible with either Lion or Mountain Lion.

I can understand that Front Row was written for older versions but it was a very tiny program and made the usage of a Mac Mini via remote very simple. And I think it could not be that much work to make a similar application also for Lion and Mountain Lion and all other following versions.

So why they make huge changes in iTunes or other applications that nobody needs (not the programs but the changes) and not for a simple media center application?

I changed my whole computer world from Windows to Apple because I liked not only the design but even more the simple usage and the great programs and tools which were deliverd with the system. Perfect to use! - And now????
