iPhone4: Appstore showing prices in Dollars and not in Indian Rupees.

Hi:

Apple has its products officially launched in India. Even now all items in Appstore in my iPhone is shown in USD and not in India. Is there a way to change this. I tried Changing the country option in Itunes store and syncing it. Nothing has changed. Can anyone help me?

iPhone 4, iOS 5.1.1

Hi there!

This happened to me when I bought my new iPad. I like in the United Kingdom and our currency is Pounds. The AppStore constantly kept coming up with the United State Dollar currency. I phone my nearest Apple store and they said it wasn't right. I was told to send it back to them to receive a new ipad. I got my new iPad and it worked fine.

Also another way to fix this problem is to do a overall reset of your Idevice. This hopefully should take you thought the process of picking the country you are located in and all the other stuff you do when you turn it on for the first time. Just out of curiosity. Did you have to pick a country and do other things when you first turned your Idecive on? Hoped this helped you
