Jun 18, 2012 11:17 AM in response to Therm0856by roaminggnome,The iphone is not a storage/backup device.
The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The exception is itunes purchases: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

Make sure you reset your computer back to original defaults then plug in your iPhone into another computer when iTunes pops up hit the tab store at the top of the page authorize computer and then go to iTunes tab and choose it will bring options up the one you want is to copy songs from iPhone to iTunes.
That will work well.

You don't have to reset your computer. If you want to move the library, use iTunes. If you want to move some specific songs, you can try iCloud.
The iphone is not a backup device.
Copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

Sep 2, 2014 1:55 AM in response to Therm0856by mattlawrence,Transfer music from iPhone to computer is quite simple. On itunes go to file > devices > transfer purchases from (whatever your device is called). Then it does it for you!

Jun 2, 2015 1:33 AM in response to Therm0856by Duvalller,Here's one choice:

There are plenty of others. Some folks use Dropbox, & play their music in a browser. No iTunes needed.
